Juventus and Milan are reportedly interested in Lille defender Tiago Santos and have been scouting the player several times this season.

Calciomercato.com reports Serie A giants Milan and Juventus have set their sights on Lille defender  Tiago Santos.

The 21-year-old is a regular starter for the French side and has three goals and two assists in 40 appearances across all competitions in 2023-24.

A U21 Portugal international, Tiago Santos’ contract runs out in June 2028. Milan’s Alessandro Florenzi and Davide Calabria see their contracts expire in June 2025, but they haven’t yet agreed to extend their stay at the club, so Santos could replace one of them at San Siro.

Calciomercato.com highlights how both Milan and Juventus are on good terms with Lille directors. The Rossoneri signed Mike Maignan and Rafael Leao from the French club in the past. The Portuguese star was signed in 2019 in a player-plus-cash swap deal involving Tiago Djaló, who moved to Juventus in the 2024 January transfer window.

At the same time, the Bianconeri signed Timothy Weah from Lille last summer and Tiago Santos is seen as a potential replacement for the USMNT international who has failed to impress in his first season in Turin.
