Phoenix Suns’ Jusuf Nurkic Hits Back at Draymond Green After Catching Scathing Dig
Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

It seems that the beef between Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green and Phoenix Suns big man Jusuf Nurkic is far from over. On Wednesday, Nurkic hit back at Green after the latter made a comment on Tuesday’s appearance on Inside the NBA on TNT about the Suns not having a “big man.”

“I see that brother still needs help. STILL ABOUT KD, he don’t like #drayover ” Nurkic posted on X (formerly Twitter) .

Beef Between Phoenix Suns’ Jusuf Nurkic and Golden State Warriors’ Draymond Green Still Going

Nurkic and Green have lots of time to think about how to get under each other’s skin as both their teams are out of NBA title contention this season. Green and the Warriors did not even make it to the 2024 NBA Playoffs, while Nurkic and his sons were ejected from the postseason after a first-round sweep at the hands of Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The bad blood between Nurkic and Green really started when the four-time NBA champ hit the center in the face during a meeting earlier this season. That led to the NBA slapping Green with an indefinite suspension. Since then, the two have exchanged verbal and virtual shots targeted at each other

This back-and-forth involving Nurkic and Green only makes it even more intriguing to see how they’d behave once they share the court again in the 2024-25 NBA season. The rivalry is also being fueled by the fact that both their teams play in the Pacific division in the Western Conference. For now, fans can perhaps expect more shots from and to each other during a long offseason.
